Wendy, a homeowner in Ponteland, approached our team with a vision to transform her kitchen into an inviting social hub by merging it with her existing dining room. Having previously experienced setbacks with other tradespeople who had not fully accounted for the complexities of what she wanted to achieve, Wendy sought a reliable and knowledgeable partner to create a stunning and sociable new kitchen and dining area with an open-plan feel. Her vision also included elegant herringbone oak flooring and a striking feature extractor system complete with integrated LED lighting, requiring a full-scale renovation of the existing kitchen and dining areas.
Seeing things in a whole new light
We began with a thorough consultation to fully understand Wendy’s dream cooking and dining space and provided clear and honest advice on the feasibility and requirements of her plans. It quickly became apparent that previous advice had overlooked crucial electrical upgrades needed to safely accommodate her desired appliances and the new lighting system. We addressed this challenge head-on by designing a complete electrical upgrade, including system modifications to future-proof the property. To ensure the kitchen design perfectly met Wendy’s needs and maximised the newly opened space, our team accompanied her on a visit to Howdens, offering guidance on layout, material selection, and achieving her desired look.
